Rooms are live audio and video spaces on OnlyMates. A host opens the floor, a few people speak and everyone else listens in until they want to talk.

01Inside a room
Up to twentypeople, four roles.
- Host
- Opens the room, chooses the topic and category, and decides who speaks. Hosts can promote, mute, remove and block people, and end the room.
- Co-hosts
- Up to two people who help the host run the room and manage the speakers.
- Speakers
- Up to five people on the mic at once. Speakers can mute themselves or step down whenever they like.
- Listeners
- Everyone else. Listen in, and raise a hand when you want to join the conversation.

02Joining in
Raise a hand.Take the mic.
Listeners raise a hand to join the speaker queue. The host or a co-host brings people up, and you can lower your hand or step down at any point.
03Categories and moderation
A room forevery mood.
Every room has a category. New rooms are reviewed before they go live, and rooms that break the community guidelines can be suspended or closed.
