General
OnlyMates is a social connection app for adults. You discover people nearby, connect when you both like each other, then chat, make audio or video calls, take random calls in Live mode or join live rooms.
Anyone 18 or older. Your age is worked out from the date of birth you give when you sign up.
It can be, but it does not have to be. On your profile you choose what you are looking for: friendship, dating, a relationship or just a chat.

Android phones running Android 7.0 or later.
Account
Sign in with your Google account, confirm your date of birth and set up your profile. There is no separate password.
Your name, age, gender, what you are looking for, a bio of up to 250 characters, up to ten interests, your location, and up to five photos or an avatar.
Yes. You can see all your signed-in devices, sign out of any one of them, or sign out everywhere.
Go to Profile, then Account management, then Delete account. You are removed from discovery straight away and have 30 days to sign back in if you change your mind.
Discovery and matches
Discover shows people who fit your filters: gender, age, state and city, what they are looking for and whether they are online. Like or pass on each person.
No. Passing is private.
When two people like each other it is mutual. You both get a notification, and chat and calls open between you.
Chat
Only people you have matched with, meaning you have both liked each other.
Yes. Messages show sent, delivered and read, and you can see when the other person is typing.
Calls and Live mode
Yes. Audio and video calls happen inside OnlyMates, so neither person sees a phone number.
Go live in audio or video mode and you can take random calls from other people who are live. No match is needed. Go offline at any time and nobody on Live can call you.
Rooms
A live audio or video space for up to twenty people. A host runs it, up to five people speak and everyone else listens.
Raise your hand. The host or a co-host can bring you up as a speaker.
New rooms are reviewed before they go live.
Safety and privacy
Block them from their profile or from a room. They can no longer find, message or call you. Unblock any time from your blocked list.

Yes. Turn on Hide online status in your privacy settings.
